Hypermarket, reinvented for Singapore
For FairPrice, Singapore's leading retailer, we developed two flagship locations: a 9,000 m² superstore in the vibrant VivoCity shopping mall, complete with pharmacy, and a second store at Parkway Parade built around a social kitchen. Both strike the balance that defines the brand — great value in price and quality, delivered through a distinct shopping experience with fully integrated food service.



Five worlds under one roof
Rather than one endless sales floor, the FairPrice Xtra concept is structured around five complementary worlds: Fresh & Local, Dine In & Fun, World's Favorites, Groceries, and Home & Beauty Essentials. Each world has its own character and pace, giving customers intuitive orientation at hypermarket scale — and giving the store the variety of a food destination rather than a weekly chore.
Where retail meets gastronomy
The store opens with its most inspiring asset: the fresh produce section. From there, retail and gastronomy interweave — a dine-in area, an ice cream parlor, even a cocktail bar. This integration of food service into the shopping journey is what led critics to call the store a "playground for adults": a true food wonderland where shopping, tasting and lingering blend into one visit.
